Project Glow

In 2018, Dr. Kallschmidt created the Project GLOW (Global Living Organisational Wage) blog. GLOW is an international collaboration of organizational scientists researching how to accomplish the first two of the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goals: 1. No Poverty, 2. Zero Hunger. When Dr. K first joined GLOW, she noticed that the researchers were not communicating across international borders. Therefore, she utilized her writing and social media skills to increase communication among sustainability researchers by creating the GLOW blog. Through this opportunity, she became well-versed in current research on people in low-income environments in the United States, New Zealand, France, South Africa, India, and the Philippines, and developed relationships with researchers in those countries.
